Step 1:
The Rock Cycle starts in the earth where the magma boils and pops, and the magma soon explodes out of the volcano and it turns into lava. The picture above shows the whole Rock Cycle.--SooMin--March, 26, 2008

Step 2:
After the magma pops out or ooze out the lava cools into an igneous rock. An igneous rock is one of the hardest rocks of all. When the lava cools air goes out of the lava so lots of holes forms. The picture below is an igneous rock.

Step 3:
After the igneous rock cools down erosion makes it go to a body of flowing water like lakes, ocean and rivers.

Step 4:
After time minerals and particles go in and becomes a sedimentary rock. Hanson 3/30/08

Step 5:
Then gather at the bottom of the water. Hanson 3/30/08

Step 6:
Then it goes deeper into the earth. and by high pressure and heat it becomes a metamorphic rock. Eric-3/30/08

Step 7:
By high pressure and heat the sedimentary rock turns into a metamorphic rock. Taka 4/16/08

Step 8:
When the metamorphic rock melts the whole cycle starts all over again. Taka 4/16/08
