During winter break my family and I did a lot of stuff like on Christmas morning, my 3 brothers and I made breakfast for our parents and then opened presents. I got a lot of cool stuff from my parents and so did my brothers! On Christmas day we had a huge party at 9:30 PM, it was the best part! My long time no see cousin visited us I have not seen her in 10 years or less, but all well it ends well I had the best Christmas ever, it was loads of fun! ---Shannonlee--- 4/1/08

For my winter break I stayed in Singapore. A few of my friends also stayed here, so we enjoyed not having to get up before the sun rises in order to go to work. I watched a lot of the college football bowl games on Slingbox! My neighbors did not even complain that I was too loud while watching them. This is probably because South Carolina was not good enough this year to be in one.

Mr. Carroll---11/01/08

I went to France, Scotland, England and we stopped over in Switzerland on the way to France. First we arrived in England but we didn't stay for long. We stayed at my grandmas house when we were there. Then we went to Scotland and all of my moms side of the family was there so I got to see all of my cousins from my moms side! It was very scary because my granny fainted on Christmas Eve but she was OK. She had a chest infection! After my Granny was OK I started playing with my little cousin Alex. Alex can't say Izzy so he calls me GG which was funny! After Scotland we went to England for one day to see an English Soccer game West Ham United play Manchester United. The score was West Ham 2 Man U 1- yes I wanted west ham to win! The next day we got ready to fly to Switzerland! When we got to the airport Ted ( My bro ) got very sick and my mom had to get him on the plane really fast! When we were getting off he felt OK! My dads friend came to pick us up for the long car ride to France! We thought that we wouldn't go because his house in France burnt down but they rented a new one. When we got to the house Ted and I had to share a room! Ted wasn't feeling very good after we had chilly for dinner so as I was just falling asleep he threw up all over the floor! For the next three days I snow boarded which was fun! When we got back to England we looked at the schools that me and my brothers want to get into! YES me and my brothers got into both schools! The next day we got back. I am glad to be home! Izzy - 12/1/08


What I did over the break was go to western Australia!! We went to Perth, Bunker Bay and Margret River!! It was a lot of fun we went horseback riding, saw kangaroo's on a tour, went to a aquarium and lots of other things!! The only bad thing is if you go there during the summer for them (December-January) it is so flies, which means the flies are so annoying!!! At least my family and I had a great holiday and brought back good stories and some bad stories!!!!!!!!!!!~~Madeline~January 30, 2008
